On July 5th M.A.C. is releasing yet another collection, "Heavenly Creature".

This collection here is serious. I saw the promo pics and wow-o-wow. The above pic is exactly what the mineralized eye shadows look like. O_o

 The collection consists of  9 mineralized eye shadows, 4 mineralized blushes and 4 mineralized skinfinishes. There are also 5 lipsticks and 5 cremesheens glosses.

This madness has got to stop! My pockets can't take it!

Every Gal loves Minnie Mouse!

OPI is known for great nail color and coverage. They are also notorious for wonderful collections. Recently they came out with the Minnie Mouse collection.

I’ve been silently stalking beauty blogs in hopes that someone got a release date on this collection. I called my local Ulta when I saw that a promo ad was in this month’s Essence magazine. They had the collection and all the colors to boot! I was a kid in a candy store! The collection included 4 nail colors, two pinks, a red, and a sparkly pink sheer polish with hearts. I got 3 out of 4 and now I’m regretting not getting the 4^th polish. I passed on the red metallic color and went for the pinks and the heart glitter polish.

I love pink polish and a Minnie Mouse so these polishes were a must have!

For this nail look I used the polish "If you moust you moust" and "Nothin' mousie 'bout it" 

...the names of the polishes are beyond corny BUTTTT the colors are fabulous!

Have you ever purchased an item and screeched with joy? I have!

I had been eyeing this BCBGeneration collared shirt since the beginning of Spring.

It was a little pricey but with some patience and luck it went on sale. I got home one night after working both jobs, dirt tired but I perked up once I saw a small package was waiting for me at my doorstep. I opened it and got my life! Yes indeed! I screamed and danced around my room. I smiled and knew at that moment I fell re-in love with FASHION!

This is definitely the summer of the Navy! With the opening of the box office smash Battleship and also M.A.C.'s Hey Sailor collection; we are all seeing strips. This spring/summer is similiar to last year with fashion inspired by nautical strips and colors.

M.A.C. has even jumped on the bandwagon with their new collection, Hey Sailor. I purchased a few things from the collection.

Spring Bean and my Spring Clothing Haul!!!

I’m ready for Spring Mother Nature just waiting on you…

I picked up my annual Spring item MAC’s lustreglass Spring Bean. It’s been a staple to my spring wardrobe since about 2002, OMG 10 years now! I’ve loved this color since before it was called Spring and was a lustreglass. Previously, many years back (Lawd I’m getting old) there was a lipglass by MAC called Squirt. This lippie was exactly the same color as Spring Bean but without the sparkles. They have now discontinued Squirt and replaced it with Spring Bean. It’s all good in my book as long as I have my bright neon green lipgloss for Spring I’m a happy camper. So bring on Spring!

I’ve also been doing a tad bit of shopping in preparation for the upcoming warm months. I’ve done the majority of my damage this year at Zappos, Nordstrom BP, F21 and H&M. O, what fun! I found a lot of bargains too! The major colors of the season are pastels and neons. Patterns are also hot this year including florals, tribal prints, stripes and polka dots. IDK what I was thinking, but I decided early on that I would wear mostly black this spring/summer. This lasted only about 5.5 seconds. Once I saw what the fashion designers had to offer I forgot all about the black look I was going for.
