MAC Style Seeker
Today is the day I’ve been waiting for! A few weeks back I was mailed an invitation to an exclusive event for MAC’s release of the Style Seeker Collection. I was elated! Plus it’s August 14th and two days before my birthday, so I am easily able to justify buying new stuff! Yes indeed, I am excited to say the least!!!
While viewing other blogs and watching YouTube videos I noticed that MAC held events to roll out their upcoming collections. I was so jealous of the Shop MAC/Cook MAC event. It was basically a party inside a MAC store and it looked like so much fun. They have Appetizers, drinks and access to a makeup collection that won’t hit stores for another few weeks. Whelp all my hard earned dollars spent at MAC have finally paid off; I was invited to their latest event Style Seeker…or maybe it was my harassment and questioning regarding special events. Bottom line, I’m in the building!
Style Seeker is a Fall collection that MAC describes as a, “tones influenced by the spirit and style of a global wanderer…from the world of wanderluxe, we’ve interpreted a vivid colour collection where inspiration is around every corner”. The release date for this collection is August 23rd, 2012.
I was able to invite a friend along and I chose to invite my pal Nicole. Nicole was the friend that introduced me to the world of makeup. I dabbled before, but thanks to her I started diving. Bless her heart because she created a MONSTER! So to show my gratitude, I invited her to this grand event.
