It's been a long I shouldn't have left you...
So I took some time off to regroup. I was discouraged by a few comments about my shopping habits...but duh I'm Mz. Material Girl, THIS IS WHAT I DO!!! So I will try harder to ignore the folks that don't approve of the way I choose to live my life and spend my money!
Anywho! On to what I've picked up during my hiatus. I haven't done too too much damage. A few pairs of Betsey Johnson shoes, a few hats (loving them this year), a few jackets, Bath & Body Works and some makeup of course ;-). My favorite word seems to be "a few" LOL!

OK, so I'm still not a fan of platforms but wedges are growing on me. This pair makes the wedge a lot easier to take. Honestly I felt I needed not wanted these, because I really don't own many black shoes especially dress shoes. I'm still on the hunt for a pair of classic black leather pumps.
I took part in MACY's mega shoe sale. Buy one and get 15% off, two get 20% and three get 30%. Well I of course got 3 pair BUT I was nice enough to get a pair for my stepmom, gray Minnitonkas. She'll be styling! I purchase the BJ wedges and this pair of Sperry top-siders.

I thought this were FUNKY and FUN. Great for the fall weather. I've calmed down on the animal print but I couldn't resist these high top Sperrys. This is actually my first pair of boat shoes! Amaze-balls!
H&M had some killer hats. on a trip to the mall I stopped in and found a few pieces that really caught my eye. I purchased these several weeks ago and I can't wait to wear them. I'm not looking forward to the cold weather and I shouldn't hope for it but at least I don't have to worry about my ears being cold. I'm also excited for all the fall looks I can create with my new hats!
So I love all accessories as you all should know by now, but I've recently fallen in LOVE with hats. I was always the kid that got yelled at for not wearing my hat or leaving it at school or where ever. But I sure won't be leaving my new head gear lying around.
I have a new love of blazers and jackets. I think I realized how much a dislike being cold. Now I still adore my sweaters for the winter but blazers/jackets are good to layer and transition from fall to winter. I grabbed a few blazers from H&M and F21 but the stars in this blog post are the jackets.
I purchased combo leather and denim jacket from Celeb Boutique. I love the detail not so much the price but I won't dwell on $$$ long gone.
I got this taupe Express jacket. I used to be a die-hard Express shopper but they don't appeal to me much these days. I also thing they are over-priced for no darn reason! I did see this jacket in a recent mailer so I went down to Express with coupon in hand and purchased this single item. I won't even get into how the young overly eager male employee worked my last nerve! What happened to listening to the customers needs!
The last jacket comes with a short story, I was picking up an eyeshadow from the Nordstrom Customer Service desk and after I'm took a wrong turn into the BP section. Danger Zone! I heard this jacket calling me... It Was! So I tried it on and it fit like a glove so I wondered on over to the cashier. I can't wait to wear it. I think I need a new scarf to go with it orrrrrrrr some colored leather gloves!
As the seasons change so do my fragrances. I have Spring and Fall scents. Some things are just prefect for a particular season. So I needed to re-up on my fall scents as the weather became it tad nippy. I made a trip to Bath & Body Works. I made an online order not to long ago to prepare from next summer as I discovered my new scent (as a discovered it this past spring) and new fav "Into the Wild" was discontinued :-(. So I got a body wash and fine fragrance mist before it was gone FOREVER. OK, back to fall and my recent in-store purchase. I ordered Twilight Woods with my online order but that was the beginning. I also got the new fall scent Cashmere Glow, Midnight Pomegranate and I was forced to get Warm Vanilla Sugar as part of the sale.

On to the makeup! OK so I lied and failed with my "no buy" until the holiday collections. The brands I like had items that I wanted and I didn't deny myself.
